How much clean-air delivery do you need?
Enter floor area and ceiling height, then choose a clean-air-changes target to estimate particle CADR in m³/h. This is a sizing aid, not medical guidance or a fresh-air ventilation calculation.

Estimated result

Target CADR (m³/h) = floor area (m²) × ceiling height (m) × chosen equivalent clean-air changes per hour. EPA advises choosing sufficient particle CADR for the room; CADR often reflects the highest fan setting.
What to know
Limits of the estimate
- The selected clean-air-changes figure is an illustrative sizing target, not a universal required level.
- Particle CADR does not solve CO₂, humidity, mould or every gas/odour problem. It is not a substitute for ventilation.
- Check particle CADR, actual noise at the usable fan setting, filter costs and room layout.
